Jort Schouten

Within the family office, Jort focuses on assessing and sourcing investment propositions. In addition, he supervises (co-) investments and plays an active role in managing participations and supporting entrepreneurs with growth ambitions. Jort is currently active full-time as an Investment Associate at MKB Fonds, a Dutch private equity fund that focuses on the lower mid-market segment and invests primarily in business (IT) service providers and wholesalers. In this role, he is involved in the entire investment process: from identifying and analysing new investment opportunities and conducting due diligence, to supporting management teams in their growth plans and achieving successful exits.

With his combination of financial expertise and strategic insight, Jort makes a direct contribution to achieving sustainable value creation within the investment portfolio. Thanks to his analytical acumen and broad experience in finance, both inside and outside the world of private equity, Jort is a strong sparring partner for entrepreneurs and fellow shareholders. Jort obtained a Master of Science in Financial Management at Nyenrode Business University.
